Did you know that according to the American Red Cross, someone needs blood in the US every 2 seconds? There is such a need for blood donors of all blood types.
To help in the effort, Cedar Haven will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, August 30th from 2 to 4pm. The Central PA Blood Bank’s “Blood Mobile” will be parked in our rear parking lot, outside of our clinic area.
As extra motivation for potential blood donors, Cedar Haven will enter the names of all donors into a drawing for a $20 gift certificate to a local shop.
You can see our switchboard operator to register.
Please mark our blood drive on your calendars and plan to stop by. Your donation could save lives!
Blood donation is a very safe process. If you have questions, you can learn more on the American Red Cross’s website here: http://www.redcrossblood.org/learn-about-blood/blood-facts-and-statistics
