Cedar Haven Healthcare Center is proud to announce that we are partnering with Nightingale College to offer our staff and the Lebanon community several unique educational opportunities through Nightingale’s accredited online nursing programs.

Nightingale College’s blended distance format allows nursing students in the pre-licensure nursing degree programs (ADN and BSN Programs) to engage in online instruction from the comfort of their own homes, while completing on-ground experiential learning at health care facilities in Central PA like Cedar Haven.

Cedar Haven team-members are eligible to receive a 10% discount on tuition at Nightingale College! Interested candidates can learn more on their website and apply online for one of three semesters / start dates:

Summer 2020 Semester (begins on May 4, 2020)

Fall 2020 Semester (begins on August 31, 2020)

Spring 2021 Semester (begins on January 4, 2021)

(Please note that all new learners are required to enroll and complete Nightingale’s College Readiness Online Seminar, which begins a month before the start dates listed above).

Candidates who already have their RN license and are interested in pursuing their BSN degree in order to further their careers and improve their clinical skills may consider Nightingale’s CCNE-accredited and fully online RN-to-BSN Program. Nightingale also offers an Associate Degree in Nursing Program and a BSN Degree Program that may interest some of our current CNAs, LPNs, or auxiliary staff members. You can request more information about their programs at http://nightingale.edu/request-info.

Nightingale College boasts no wait list as well as personalized attention from a dedicated faculty. They also offer advanced placement for LPNs who wish to enter their programs.

This partnership is an exciting development for Cedar Haven as we strive to provide the highest-quality care for our residents every day. We are highly committed to supporting and spearheading healthcare education initiatives, including our established NAT (Nursing Assistant Trainee) Program which allows for in-house training for Certified Nursing Assistants by Cedar Haven’s own Staff Education department.

Cedar Haven is thrilled to expand our list of educational partners by welcoming Nightingale College to Cedar Haven in this manner. In doing so, Cedar Haven has provided space for Nightingale’s experiential learning efforts, which include access to computer-operated nursing mannequins and other helpful resources. Together, we can improve healthcare and educate new nurses for the benefit of the Central Pennsylvania Community.
