This is the part of a new series of posts showing how residents #EnjoyLifeWithUs at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center.

You know a new school year is upon us when the “Back to School” photos flood your social media stream. Last week, our residents took the opportunity to share some “Back to School photos” of their own by sharing words of wisdom for today’s students. We hope you enjoy reading through their best advice for young people today:

Richard Boyer

Class of 1963,  Northern Lebanon

“Work hard in school and out of school. Good work ethic is needed.”

Patrick Mangan

Class of 1965,  Lebanon Catholic

“Stick to it. Study and do your homework. Try to be as obedient as you can.”

Daryl Hoffmaster

Class of 1961,  South Lebanon

“Learn something PRACTICAL.”

Paul Garrison

Class of 1948,  Allentown Central Catholic; 1953, Kutztown University

“Read, Study, Listen, Observe, Follow Instructions.”

Arletta Posey

Class of 1959,  North Lebanon

“Stay in school and graduate. You can’t get far without an education.”

The residents enjoyed sharing their words of wisdom with our team and we hope that you enjoy reading them as well. We all have so much to learn from our residents. Happy Back to School to everyone in our Cedar Haven family!
