In order to express our appreciation, Cedar Haven awards employees with Monthly Awards as well as Quarterly Recognition Awards to recognize staff for the following:
- taking extraordinary steps in improving the lives of residents.
- alleviating concerns of residents’ loved ones and family members.
- providing guidance and mentorship to new members of the clinical staff.

March Employee of the Month Award Winners

Connie Cox, LPN, Pharmacy/MH Coordinator
“Connie is a great employee who should be recognized for her hard work. She works many hours without taking her breaks and does the job of three people. Connie makes sure she is neat and on top of her job and does it with a smile. As a charge nurse, her floor was in order. She deserves to be acknowledged for all she does and more. She is an asset to our facility.
“Connie deserves to be nominated. She does her job well and is dedicated to making sure duties are done right and done to better the residents. I appreciate everything she does to help, even when her workload is heavy. She deserves to be noticed for all she does for us.”

“Connie is constantly crazy busy and yet always remains helpful and pleasant. She does the work of what could easily be a two-person job. Although she is busy all the time, if I have a question about meds or diagnoses, she will take the time to help me.”
“Connie is always available to help with medication problems (she gets calls from all shifts) and residents’ mental health issues. She provides 1:1 to many residents. She helps the nurses on the units by taking off orders and would assist with meds if needed. She is an excellent resource for our staff.”

Jacqueline Hemperly, RN Supervisor
“Jackie is a supervisor that gets her hands dirty. She checks orders, puts new orders into the computer, gets vital signs, does the paperwork for hospital returns, and does treatments. Her personality is bubbly and sociable. Jackie is an asset to Cedar Haven and a wonderful person to work with. She is always willing to help and makes sure you are covered. She deserves to be recognized.”
