It’s time to announce the employees who have been selected as part of our monthly Employee Recognition Program. This month, Marilyn, Linnea, and Wendy were nominated and selected as the May Employees of the Month. You can read some of the comments provided by their coworkers below. Please join us in extending our heartfelt thanks to these employees for their dedication to the residents at Cedar Haven and their “Commitment to Care.”
As always, whether you are an employee, a resident, or a family member, please consider nominating one of the Cedar Haven team members who you think should be recognized and awarded for their exemplary work at the facility.
Marilyn Reyes, CNA
“Marilyn goes out of her way to help others. She comes in early and will start residents on other assignments. She is always cheerful and pleasant. She is a true team player.”
“Marilyn is a wonderful aid. She is such a sweet person. She goes above and beyond her duties daily.”
“We love working with Marilyn. She is a hard worker and will stop her work to help a co-worker or a resident.”
“Marilyn has proven herself to be an invaluable asset to the nursing staff. Marilyn consistently has a cheerful demeanor, is eager to help her co-workers over and above her own assignment, and is diligent in her work. Without hesitation, I join the rest of the staff in recognizing Marilyn’s tireless contribution to the residents, co-workers, and Cedar Haven.”
Linnea Heilman, Ward Secretary
“Linnea works non-stop all day between two floors. She keeps records, labs, and filing all together. Whenever you ask for a favor she drops what she is doing to help you. She treats the residents with respect and is always doing something for them too. If you don’t know where something is or where it goes, just ask Linnea. She has a smile on her face every day and makes your day brighter. You can count on her to get things done. We couldn’t get our work done without her. Thank you, Linnea for all your help and dedication!”
“Linnea has been a loyal employee and an asset to Cedar Haven since 1976. She has never abused her sick time and has always made it to work during snow storms to help our residents. She has a deep compassion for the residents here and is always willing to help them when she can and if she is qualified to perform their need. I don’t know if there is anyone at Cedar Haven that would say anything negative about her, she literally gets along with all the employees and residents. She is dedicated to the residents.”
Wendy Viramontes, LPN
“Wendy is always pleasant to work with. She is always available to help the nursing assistants as needed. She is very hard working and cares a lot about the residents.”
“Wendy is a hard working LPN, always willing to help us nursing assistants.”
“Wendy goes above and beyond to make sure her residents are receiving the quality care each one deserves. She has a wonderful working relationship with her residents, co-workers, and supervisors. She is a hard worker and is always willing to help other staff members. Thank you for all you do Wendy!”
