Congratulations January Employee of the Month Award Winners

We kicked off 2019 at Cedar Haven by presenting three of our outstanding staff-members with an Employee of the Month certificate and gift card as a way of saying thank you for all that they do on a daily basis.

Every month we choose staff members who are exemplary in the following ways:

• Employees who are taking extraordinary steps in improving the lives of residents.
• Employees who are alleviating concerns of residents’ loved ones and family members.
• Employees who are providing guidance and mentorship to new members of the clinical staff.

Elsy Neuin

“Elsy concentrates on the welfare of residents and meeting their needs. She visits, communicates and tries to meet their requests. Elsy works to benefit the department and programs. She is encouraging and helpful to her coworkers when they need assistance and direction. Elsy takes charge of a program if needed and plans for this. She has a positive attitude.”

“Elsy enjoys working with the residents. She knows their needs and is a good listener.”

Emma Keller

“I witnessed Emma with a resident. Emma was so kind, calm and caring. The resident also communicated that Emma is “very good”. The resident’s family was also present and very appreciative of Emma.

“Quick recognition of resident at the start of a stroke. We were able to have the resident out of the door right away once symptoms started.”

“Emma is very knowledgeable, dedicated to the residents, and a great listener and observer. She goes over and beyond every day to make a difference in the lives of her residents. She is always smiling and has a very positive attitude and is an excellent role model. Emma has a strong desire to learn and do her job effectively.
