We hope that your Thanksgiving was a joyful celebration with family and friends. This December, we have a full schedule of events which will provide a variety of fun and meaningful activities for our residents. A few of the highlights are described below. Musical Programs:
Cedar Haven is pleased to host a variety of groups this month who will bring holiday themed musical programs to our residents. Over the first week of December we will enjoy Tom Edmondson on December 3rd, the Acustos Guitar Concert on December 4th, and Dave Lefeger on December 6th. Be sure to check out our events calendar for a full list.
Games and Fun:
Our residents love getting together for games and socializing. There will be many opportunities for this, including Bingo on December 8th, Christmas Word Fun on December 9th, Find a Word Fun on December 28th, and Bocce Ball on December 29th, just to name a few.
Festive and Religious Events:
There will be a number of worship services, bible studies, and other religious events during the month of December. Please visit our events calendar for a comprehensive list of offerings, including a Christmas Eve Worship Service with Open Door Baptist Church and many other meaningful events.
Looking to do some holiday shopping? We have shopping trips scheduled for your convenience which leave at 12:30pm on December 1st, 2nd, 10th, 14th, and 16th. Also, Cedar Haven will also host a number of festive, holiday events that bring caroling and holiday lights to the residents for their enjoyment.
Movies:
Join us in the Rec Room to watch some holiday films. We will be enjoying “Elf” on December 5th, “Miracle on 34th Street” on December 12th, and “It’s a Wonderful Life” on December 26th and 27th.
