Today wrapped up an exciting week of National Nursing Home Week 2017 events at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center. Residents enjoyed a resident luncheon and a musical performance by the Johnson Brothers on Tuesday, May 16th, employees were invited to a breakfast yogurt bar in the main dining room on May 17th, and the Cedar Haven team was treated to ice cream sundaes today (see photo above)! Other fun events included a “Haven Family Feud” game on May 15th and a musical performance by “Friends in Harmony” on May 14th. The American Health Care Association selected the theme “The Spirit of America” for National Nursing Home Week this year in order to highlight “bond between staff, volunteers, and residents that capture the American spirit.”
That spirit is certainly alive and well at Cedar Haven.
