The Katie’s Klique Relay for Life team means a lot to several of our team-members at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center. The 2018 Relay for Life event, hosted by the American Cancer Society, was held last on May 18th and 19th. The Relay kicked off with special laps for cancer survivors and caregivers as the teams cheered to honor these individuals. The teams can then walk through the night before wrapping things up at the closing ceremony the next morning.

Things are only still and quiet at a Relay for Life event when the luminaries are lighted, at dusk. This year there were 96 teams in Lebanon County and over $296,000 was raised and donated. If you wanted to make a donation to the cause, it’s not too late! Any donations can be submitted to Marcia Krause, Team Captain, or Lebanon County Relay for Life “Katie’s Klique.”
