Activities (Therapeutic Recreation)

At Cedar Haven we offer up to 100 engaging and fun activities a month (see this month’s activity schedule here). We work with our residents to help enhance their quality of life, by focusing on their ability and adapting our activities to the needs of each individual.

If you are creative or crafty you may enjoy our craft room fun. We explore different aspects of wood painting, yarn work, beading, flower arranging, and more.

If the outdoors or gardening is for you, you may enjoy our beautiful Legacy Garden, walks on the REC trail, or Tea Time on the Terrace.

For our animal lovers, we have the Keystone Greyhounds monthly, as well as other k9 therapy visits though out the month. If you are a feline lover we have our two cats Squirt and Socks who love getting attention from our residents. We also have Petey the bird who likes to sing to our residents and even sit on your shoulder if you would like.

For our travelers, we have summer bus trips, picnics in the park, as well as dine outs and shopping trips throughout the year.

We also offer a wide variety of worship services to help fulfill residents’ spiritual needs.
