In honor of National Volunteer Month, we held a Volunteer Banquet and are now spotlighting a few of our regular volunteers here on our blog. Please enjoy today’s spotlight!

National Volunteer Month

Meet Bish

Bish Wolf grew up in Lebanon and has been a very regular and dedicated volunteer at our facility over the past 18 years. She typically volunteers at the facility 6 days a week. It all started when she came to visit a friend at the facility.

Bish said, “I’ve volunteered all my life. A lot of it started when I was a Senior Girl Scout. Our theme was volunteering in the community.”

Bish noted that when she sees a need to help someone with little things, like writing letters to loved ones, she wants to jump in and help. “I’m the kind of person who keeps busy but likes to see results, see a change or a betterment. That’s my attitude in life.”

What a difference her attitude and commitment have made for so many residents at Cedar Haven over the past 18 years. Please join us in thanking Bish for her dedication to volunteering her time for the betterment of others.
