Employee of the Month is one way for us to celebrate our skilled staff for their commitment to providing high quality care for our residents. This August we recognized three of our skilled staff-members by presenting them with an Employee of the Month certificate and gift card.
Nominations are encouraged for these notable achievements:
- Employees who are taking extraordinary steps in improving the lives of residents.
- Employees who are alleviating concerns of residents’ loved ones and family members.
- Employees who are providing guidance and mentorship to new members of the clinical staff.
Our staff, residents, and their families submitted many nominations for our Employee of the Month! We hope that you will enjoy reading what those nominating them had to say about their work. Please also join us in thanking Carla, Diane, and Priscilla for their well-deserved awards. If you missed our July Employees of the Month, you can meet them here.
Carla Troxell, Maintenance
“Always answers in a timely manner. No job is too big or too small. Respectful, always kind and courteous to residents and employees.”
“I hear residents say she is so helpful and have seen every time you ask her to do something or anyone needs help, she is willing to help or get someone that can help. She is kind and courteous, and as far as I see, a very good asset to Cedar Haven staff.”
“Always pleasant, positive, and patient with employee and resident requests. She always has a smile and kind word when passing in the hall or elevator. Carla is hard working and takes initiative when working through a problem or helping come up with a unique solution.”
Priscilla Muzzy, CNA
“Priscilla is a positive aide, does her job well and cares for all residents with care and compassion.”
“She has been working here for 17 years. She consistently does her job in a professional manner and is a great asset to 1-C. She is very neat and thorough with the care she provides to each individual resident. Priscilla has a positive attitude and is deserving of employee of the month. She also has a great attendance record.”
“I have been working with Priscilla for 11 years, she has always showed up on time for work. She even takes me home when I don’t have a ride home.”
Diane Toennes, CNA
“Diane is a joy to work with. She has a bubbly personality. She treats her residents on 1-D with respect and she takes her work very seriously. She is always motivated to do her best and work together as a team. She is a hard working woman and deserves to be recognized for that.”
